We are inviting any high school student to submit a painting or drawing inspired by Arlington Garden in Pasadena. Your inspiration may come from the feelings you have at the garden, a particular spot in the garden, or species you find fascinating.
We are accepting digital images of visual artwork between March 1st and April 17th at 11:59pm.
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges consisting of community members and artists.
Winner will be announced on Earth Day, 4/22/21.
All artwork will be displayed on Arlington Garden’s website.

*Entry participants retain the copyright to their artwork but are releasing their art piece to Arlington Garden in Pasadena to appear on the Arlington Garden in Pasadena website and for reprinting purposes on tote bags. Tote bags with the artwork will be sold by the garden to benefit programming.
Grand Prize
Winner will have their artwork turned into a tote bag, along with a gift basket of art supplies from Blick Art Materials in Pasadena, and prizes from Patagonia Pasadena, including a backpack, water bottle, and T-shirt.
Runner up
Gift bag of art supplies from Blick Art Material in Pasadena and Patagonia Pasadena pencil cases.
Honorable mention
T-shirt and pencil cases from Patagonia Pasadena.
